Every autumn, The Centre for International Governance Innovation (CIGI) hosts its annual conference. This landmark event brings together accomplished researchers, policy makers, business leaders and journalists to define and debate issues of critical global importance and to identify innovative practices that can assist in meeting global challenges.

At CIGI '07, a group of distinguished participants explored the energy crisis and the role of international governance institutions in addressing environmental sustainability. CIGI hosted the conference in partnership with the University of Waterloo and the Royal Society of Canada (the country's leading assembly of academic researchers), marking the 5th, 50th and 125th anniversaries of these institutions.

The brochure, recordings of individual sessions and PowerPoint presentation files are attached below. The recordings are MP3 files; you will need appropriate media software (Windows Media Player, RealPlayer, iTunes, VLC, etc.) to play them.
