CIGI Distinguished Fellow Thomas Bernes and Senior Fellow Bessma Momani will the G20 Brisbane Pre-Summit Conference co-hosted by Griffith University and the G20 Research Group, University of Toronto.  This year's theme is "Strengthening Global Growth".

Bessma Momani

CIGI Senior Fellow Bessma Momani has a Ph.D. in political science with a focus on international political economy and is a full professor and associate vice‑president, international at the University of Waterloo.

Thomas A. Bernes

Thomas A. Bernes is a CIGI distinguished fellow. After an illustrious career in the Canadian public service and at leading international economic institutions, Tom was CIGI’s executive director from 2009 to 2012.
