The Centre for International Governance Innovation (CIGI) has joined a group of think tanks to organize the virtual Global Think Tank Town Hall led by the Think Tanks and Civil Society Programs at the University of Pennsylvania. This interactive meeting will focus on how to respond to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, the unprecedented policy problems our world is facing and will face in the coming months, as well as the existential challenges and disruptions the virus has imposed on think tanks around the world.

CIGI President Rohinton P. Medhora will join the Opening President Panel from 8:30 - 9:00 a.m. EDT (UTC-04:00) with other leaders from various think tanks around the world including Brookings Institution, the Atlantic Council and the Signapore Institute for International Affairs. CIGI's Managing Director, Aaron Shull, will join the final panel A Call for Think Tanks to Save Lives and Livelihoods from 11:00 - 11:30 a.m. EDT (UTC-04:00). 

Event Speakers

Aaron Shull is the managing director and general counsel at CIGI. He is a senior legal executive and is recognized as a leading expert on complex issues at the intersection of public policy, emerging technology, cybersecurity, privacy and data protection.

Rohinton P. Medhora is a CIGI distinguished fellow, professor of practice at McGill University, and an expert in international economic relations, innovation policy, development economics and governance.
