Séoul a repris une vie normale. Vendredi soir, quelques heures après la fin du sommet du G20, la circulation a repris autour du Coex, le centre de congrès qui accueillait la cinquième réunion du genre depuis celle de Washington fin 2008. La barrière de fer qui le protégeait des manifestants, hier absents, a été en bonne partie démontée. Les chauffeurs de taxi n’ont plus l’obligation, sous peine d’amende, d’avoir les cheveux propres et d’être bien habillés.

En Corea, escenario hace 60 años de la primera guerra del comunismo contra el capitalismo, se libró ayer la última batalla del liberalismo contra el proteccionismo. Como aquella contienda, acabó en tablas porque los viejos enemigos ideológicos son ahora socios comerciales. La cumbre del G-20 concluyó ayer sin fijar medidas concretas contra los grandes obstáculos que frenan ahora la salida de la crisis: la «guerra de divisas» y los desequilibrios comerciales. Según la declaración conjunta del encuentro, los países más industrializados y las potencias emergentes se comprometieron en la solución de ambos conflictos, pero no se pusieron de acuerdo en las medidas a tomar.
