Research Officer - UN Reform

Amanda Kristensen carries out the activities and initiatives of the UN Reform Project under the leadership of CIGI Distinguished Fellow Louise Fréchette. In this role she conducts research and compiles documents concerning UN reform since the end of the Cold War.

Amanda Kristensen, Background

Amanda Kristensen joined CIGI as the United Nations Reform research officer in 2010, focusing on peacekeeping and human rights reform. Her areas of interest include state building, peacekeeping and multilateral organizations.

She is a candidate for an M.A. in Public and International Affairs at the University of Ottawa. She graduated from the University of Waterloo in 2008 with an Honours Co-op B.A. (arts and business with a history major, political science minor).
