Background

Andrew Schrumm is Interim Partnerships Manager at CIGI. In this role, heis responsible for maintaining strong relationships with CIGI's partnerorganizations and sponsors, for developing high-value and strategiccollaborations, and for coordinating effective communication amongCIGI's stakeholders. Since joining CIGI in 2006, he has been an activemember of the research unit and numerous working groups. As ResearchOfficer, he coordinated activities related to global economicgovernance, emerging economies, G8 and G20 summits, and South-Southrelations. Andrew studied political economy at Queen's University anddiplomacy studies at DiploFoundation. Previously, he served as presidentof the Queen's International Affairs Association, editor of the Queen'sInternational Observer, and vice-president of the Waterloo Region Branchof the Canadian International Council. Prior to joining CIGI, he workedas a legal researcher and assistant to a Member of Parliament.
