Background

CIGI Chair Eric Helleiner is a Trudeau Foundation Fellow, and co-editor of the book series Cornell Studies in Money. He is a member of the international advisory board for the book series Routledge Series in International Political Economy and for the Journal of International Relations and Development, as well as member of the editorial board of Canadian Foreign Policy.

Dr. Helleiner has been governor on the board of the IPE section of the International Studies Association; co-editor of the journal Review of International Political Economy, associate editor of the journal Policy Sciences; recipient of four SSHRC Standard Research Grants since 1993; recipient of the Marvin Gelber Essay Prize in International Relations from the Canadian Institute for International Affairs (CIIA) and recipient of the 2006 Donner Prize (awarded by the Donner Canadian Foundation for the best book on Canadian public policy).
