Deanne Leifso oversees the coordination of the activities and initiatives of the G20 Working Group as well as its overall operation within the Global Economy program. CIGI conducts an active program of research, policy analysis, conferences and workshops on G20 challenges and issues.
Deanne joined CIGI as a Balsillie Fellow in 2006 and currently works as the project officer for CIGI's G20 working group. Her research interests include: international political economy, American foreign policy, diplomatic norms and practices, and the links between domestic institutions and international policy coordination.
She completed her Masters of Arts in Political Science from the University of Waterloo in 2007. She graduated from Dalhousie University in 2006 with an Honours B.A in Political Science.
