How can I place a bulk order or request an exam copy of a textbook?

For bulk orders, invoicing options, or to request an exam copy please contact us directly at [email protected] or +1.519.885.2444 ext. 7226. Please note that shipping costs will still be applied for exam copy requests.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept the following methods of payment: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, PayPal, Cheque drawn on a Canadian bank, or Money Order. Please ensure that your billing information is entered exactly as it appears on your card; we can only process online transactions if billing information is 100% accurate.

What shipping options are available?

Within Canada, both standard and expedited shipping is available through Canada post or FedEx. Depending on your location, expedited shipping may not always be available. International shipping is also available through FedEx. 

How quickly should I expect a response to my online order?

You will receive email confirmation of your order upon completion of the payment process. A second email, with a tracking number, will be sent to the email address provided once your item(s) have been shipped. Delivery time ranges depending on the shipment method selected during checkout.

How do I check the status of my order or track a shipment?

All orders will be processed within 2 business days. Once your order has been processed, you will receive an email confirming shipment. This email will contain a tracking code for Canada Post or FedEx, depending on the shipping method selected during checkout. How does pre-ordering work?

Titles with an upcoming release date can be purchased in advance through pre-order, often at a discounted rate. If you choose to pre-order an item, your credit card will be charged at the time of purchase and your item will ship following the release date. You will be emailed a receipt at the time of purchase and a notice of shipment once your item has been shipped. 

How do I change or cancel my order?

To change or cancel your order, please contact us at [email protected] or 1.800.562.0258 as soon as possible. Once your item(s) have been shipped, you will need to return the item within 30 days of delivery to obtain a refund and/or place an order for the new product. Please see our Returns and Refund Policy for additional information.

What is your return and refund policy?

CIGI accepts returns within 30 days of delivery and can offer a full product refund in most cases. For complete information on returns and refunds, including for booksellers, please consult our Returns and Refund Policy.

What is your privacy policy?

CIGI does not store your personal or payment information. Details on transaction security can be found by visiting stripe.com/help/security.

During checkout, you will be asked to provide an email address. Occasionally, we would like to contact you about new features, events, and publications. Rest assured, we will never sell your e-mail address to third parties. You can unsubscribe from receiving CIGI e-mail communications at any time by clicking "unsubscribe" in the footer of the email.

What is your accessibility policy?
CIGI Press provides PDF files of our books for students or other readers who require an alternate format for accessibility purposes. Such requests must be made by an Accessibility Centre at a recognized college or university or an institution such as CNIB. Confirmation that the student or user has purchased a print copy must accompany your request.

Please include in your request the name of your institution, the name and dates of the course for which the text is required (if applicable), the title and author of the book requested, and confirmation of proof of purchase.
