Erinn Steringa is the communications advisor for the Global Security & Politics program at the Centre for International Governance Innovation (CIGI), where she specializes in strategic communications, media and public relations, and stakeholder engagement.
Prior to joining CIGI, Erinn led communications and media relations for Gowling WLG, a global law firm with more than 1,400 lawyers worldwide. She then moved to Goods & Services, a boutique brand-marketing agency, where she worked with a diverse Canadian and international clientele to create unique brand strategies and compelling content, from advertising campaigns and marketing collateral to social media. Erinn also worked in magazine publishing as an editor with The Kit and as a regular contributor to Chatelaine. She holds a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Ottawa, as well as professional certificates in integrated branding, advertising and media, digital marketing and user experience design.
