Dr. Heidi Ullrich is an independent trade policy consultant for such organizations as the International Centre for Trade and Sustainable Development (ICTSD), GOPA and Gesellschaft für Technische Zusammenarbeit (GTZ).

Bio

Dr. Heidi Ullrich is an independent trade policy consultant for such organizations as the International Centre for Trade and Sustainable Development (ICTSD), GOPA and Gesellschaft für Technische Zusammenarbeit (GTZ). She has worked previously as Program Offer in Trade in Services at ICTSD in Geneva, Switzerland, and Global Trade Coordinator at Consumers International in London, UK. She has been a lecturer at the London School of Economics, where she also received her PhD, and at the University of Southampton. Her publications include articles on the G7/8 and trade policy, on the G8's role in multilateral negotiations, and on the G8, WTO and Public
Governance. 

She has also written on the role of civil society in global governance and the interaction between the levels of rule making in trade in services. She is a member of the G8 Research Group at the University of Toronto and serves as Editor of its G8 Governance Working Papers.
