Bio
Lynn Schellenberg joined CIGI as a publications editor in October 2015, where her primary responsibility is editing outputs for the Global Security & Politics Program.
Prior to joining CIGI, Lynn was a writer/editor at the College of Family Physicians of Canada. She began her editing career with eight years at the trade publisher McClelland and Stewart, working on a range of fiction and non-fiction books and producing an audiobook line. Later, she spent a decade in medical and health care publishing, as a peer review coordinator, managing editor and associate editor, editing papers for peer-reviewed indexed medical journals, patient education materials and online course modules, and developing best practice guides for clinical practice. She has a B.A. in English from the University of King’s College in Halifax and earned the designation of Certified Professional Editor from the Editors’ Association of Canada in 2009.
