Maissaa Almustafa is a candidate for the master’s of international public policy at the Balsillie School of International Affairs (BSIA) and a CIGI junior research fellow.
Maissaa specializes in international business development and was previously senior trade and investment officer at the British Embassy in Damascus, Syria. She is interested in human rights protection during conflicts and focusses on refugees and displacement issues.
