Olawuwo Oni has a master of environmental studies degree in sustainability management from the University of Waterloo.
His research focused on the effect of sustainability regulations designed by central banks or major financial sector regulators empowered by the national governments of various countries on banks, including determining if banks have been able to address the principles of the regulations so that they are able to act, operate and conduct business sustainably.
His undergraduate background is in geography, with a specialization in human geography. Before starting his master’s studies, Ola worked with Skye Bank Plc as a money market dealer and team lead for the Treasury Bills subunit in the bank’s Treasury Department.
