Bio
Tony Porter is Professor and Chair of Political Science at McMaster University.
Holding a Ph.D. from Carleton University, he has published numerous academic volumes, including: States, Markets and Regimes in Global Finance (Macmillan, 1993); Technology, Governance and Political Conflict in International Industries (Routledge, 2002); Globalization and Finance (Polity, 2005); and co-edited with A. Claire Cutler and Virginia Haufler, Private Authority and International Affairs (SUNY Press, 1999).
In recent years his articles have appeared in Review of International Political Economy, Review of Policy Research, Global Governance, Global Society, and Business and Politics.
