Today, representatives from over 150 countries will meet in New York to sign the Paris Agreement on Climate Change. CIGI’s experts are marking this historic moment by sharing their insights on various aspects of the of the Agreement and what COP 21 portends for climate action going forward.

CIGI has released results from a new international poll commissioned by CIGI and conducted by global research company Ipsos across 24 countries includes Internet-related issues such as national security, the Dark Net, hacktivism, and global trust. The survey highlights shifts in attitudes, perceptions and behavior of internet users around the world on key issues such as online privacy, human rights, inclusivity, and Internet freedom and security. The findings, also presented by CIGI’s Fen Hampson and Darrell Bricker at UNCTAD’s E-Commerce Week, also highlight internet governance as a key policy challenge facing governments and the private sector alike.
