Bio
Brandon Schaufele is an associate professor in business, economics and public policy at the Ivey Business School and director of the Ivey Energy Policy and Management Centre, Western University. Prior to coming to Ivey, he was an assistant professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Ottawa and research director of sustainable prosperity. Brandon’s research focuses on the economics and regulation of energy and commodity markets, competition policy and the economics of law. Among other publications, he has published in the American Economics Journal: Applied Economics; the Journal of Environmental Economics and Management; Canadian Public Policy; and the Canadian Journal of Economics.
