The news coming out of the Middle East is almost always pessimistic. Terrorism, religious fanaticism and misogyny dominate headlines about the region. But Bessma Momani is optimistic about the Middle East's future. She's professor of political science at the University of Waterloo and the Balsillie School of International Affairs, and Senior Fellow at CIGI.
