CIGI’s IGLOO Library forms partnership with UN

November 21, 2007

Waterloo, Canada - Four major United Nations programs and funds, including UNICEF, have formed content partnerships with the Centre for International Governance Innovation's open access international governance library.

The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) have each signed a Creative Commons license with IGLOO (International Governance Leaders and Organizations Online), allowing the Library to collect and share their electronic publications. The partnership formed with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) allows the Library to link to their content online.

The IGLOO Library, an initiative of the Centre for International Governance Innovation (CIGI), is an electronic open access international governance library with resources for educators, practitioners, researchers, and students.
