A Conversation with Chris Alexander

Christopher Alexander, former Canadian Ambassador to Afghanistan and deputy special representative of the UN Secretary General for Afghanistan, sat down with CIGI senior fellow Mark Sedra for a wide-ranging conversation on the state of Afghanistan. Alexander's six years spent in Afghanistan give him a fascinating insight into the conflict. Topics included reconcilition, counter-insurgency, Pakistan's role in Afghanistan, corruption and the drug trade, and the future of Afghanistan.
