The COVID-19 pandemic is not only stretching the world's health systems to their limits, but it's now a threat to the entire global economy. CIGI Senior Fellow Thomas Bernes joined the Australian Broadcast Company to discuss.
"What needs to happen is a clear signal that countries are going to work together through this crisis. As the IMF director noted, this is the worst crisis since The Great Depression. It is probably three times bigger than the financial crisis we witnessed ten years ago," Bernes stated.
