"As time marches on and the NAFTA negotiations are not concluding, the option really will be if the US decides to withdraw from the NAFTA. Trade is so large between the three nations so it would make sense to set up bilateral deals. It doesn't mean that it will be better deals than the NAFTA as a whole, but certainly it would make sense for the countries to have some form of free trade."
