On February 3, 2010, CIGI hosted a public lecture titled “From the Front: Canadian Forces in Afghanistan” delivered jointly by Colonel J.C.R. Lacroix (Deputy Commander of Joint Task Force Afghanistan/Task Force Kandahar from Feb to Nov 2009) and Tara Denham (Chief of Staff for the Representative of Canada in Kandahar). At the event Colonel Lacroix provided CIGI with the following slide show featuring the Canadian Forces in Afghanistan titled “Faces of Afghanistan”:
