Scotiabank is giving $100,000 to help a Waterloo-based think-tank examine the Caribbean's economic challenges. The three-year contribution to a project of the Centre for International Governance Innovation will aid a "fresh examination of the Caribbean economy," says a press release. The independent international think-tank plans to bring together researchers and private and public sector leaders to look at the economic governance challenges facing the Caribbean region.
