WATERLOO — The Centre for International Governance Innovation will celebrate the opening of its new campus next Friday with an exclusive performance by Juno Award-winning Somali-Canadian rapper K’naan.

The socially conscious performer will add a shot of international celebrity to the grand opening of the think tank’s campus, where experts are trying to help change public policy around some of the world’s most pressing problems. The new campus will also house students from the Balsillie School of International Affairs.
