As a percentage of global electricity production, nuclear energy has declined since 2000. The only place in the world experiencing a true nuclear renassance is China, whereas other nations are struggling with cost overruns and strict government regulations. Trevor Findlay, Associate Professor, Carleton University and Senior Fellow with The Centre for International Governance Innovation, explains.
