If you enjoy working in a diverse and challenging environment with unique and rewarding learning opportunities, CIGI may be the place for you. We seek employees who are engaged and passionate about what they do every day. In exchange, we offer opportunities to build careers with an organization focused on researching and addressing issues of global concern.

At CIGI, employees work in an architectural-award-winning environment that inspires creativity and collaboration with other research institutions. Also located at the CIGI Campus are the Balsillie School of International Affairs and the Academic Council on the United Nations System, among others.

Our Environment

The CIGI Campus includes two award-winning buildings: the historic nineteenth century Seagram Co. distillery warehouse; and the state-of-the-art CIGI Campus building, designed by Toronto-based architects KPMB.

At CIGI, fresh ideas need fresh air — which is why the organization has embraced employee-led initiatives including walking and running clubs, yoga lessons, health and wellness fairs and organized sport teams. Combined with the activities offered within the community-at-large, CIGI employees enjoy a vibrant and engaging environment.

Employees at CIGI also take pleasure in a wide range of organized team-building activities throughout the year, including summer BBQs, chilli and soup cook-offs, holiday parties and coffee-chats.

CIGI is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to fostering a fair, inclusive and diverse work environment. We encourage all interested applicants who meet the requirements of a job posting to apply. CIGI considers all applications regardless of applicants’ gender, race, colour, religion, sexual orientation, age or disability.
