The Center for International Governance Innovation (CIGI) and the Istituto di Studi per l’Economia Applicata (ISEA) are pleased to co-host an in-person-only round table on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, to discuss the status quo of the international financial architecture in the eightieth year of the Bretton Woods Conference. The event will be held in Washington, DC, at the margins of the International Monetary Fund and World Bank annual meetings.
The engagement will provide an exclusive opportunity to present two forthcoming books edited by CIGI and ISEA fellows: The Oxford Handbook of the International Monetary Fund by Bessma Momani and Mark Hibben, and A New Bretton Woods for a New World by Giovanni Tria and Angelo Federico Arcelli. The program will open with remarks and introductions by Paul Samson (president, CIGI) and Giovanni Tria (distinguished fellow, CIGI; senior fellow, ISEA). Following this, Bessma Momani and Angelo Federico Arcelli will present their books, setting the stage for a round table that invites thoughtful participation from all attendees. This event is invitation-only.
