CIGI and Indonesia’s Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) are bringing together business executives, policy experts and government officials from Canada and Indonesia to discuss matters of critical importance to all stakeholders.

This event is part of the joint CIGI-CSIS project "Innovation and Change: Forging the New Indonesia-Canada Partnership," which is investigating the potential in Canada-Indonesia relations. Researchers are exploring and building awareness of the economic opportunities that exist for both countries through closer business ties, while also examining the critical nexus between economic and security issues in the Southeast Asian region.

Following the Canada-Indonesia Forum, CIGI and CSIS will release a report featuring conclusions from the Forum as well as practical and actionable recommendations for businesses, governments and other actors aimed at further developing the Canada-Indonesia partnership in the twenty-first century both in bilateral terms and within the larger ASEAN region.
