September 2011 marks a week of activities to celebrate the new CIGI Campus. Located in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada and designed by KPMB Architects, the CIGI Campus is home to a hub of research and academic institutions specializing in international affairs.
Invited guests from Waterloo and abroad - including representatives from governments at all levels, the academic, business and not-for-profit sectors - will attend the CIGI Campus Celebration from 11am-2pm. K’naan, an internationally acclaimed Somali-Canadian recording artist, will also be performing at the celebration, alongside a children’s choir composed of students from schools in the Waterloo area and Toronto.
Although parts of the facility will still be under construction, the magnificent courtyard and other features will be ready to showcase.
While open to invited participants only, the conference will be webcast live, available free to the public anywhere the Internet is accessible.
