Please join us as CIGI hosts a screening of the 2011 award-winning documentary, The Island President. Focusing on then-president of the Maldives, Mohamed Nasheed, the film documents his efforts to confront the issue and effects of climate change on the world stage, driven by the rising sea levels that put the island nation at risk.
David Estrin, CIGI Senior Research Fellow with the International Law Research Program will introduce the film.
