Over the past year, more than 110 civil society organizations, academics, and legal and finance professionals from over 30 countries participated in a global consultation on sovereign debt restructuring. The consultation sought feedback on the current processes for sovereign debt restructuring and solicited proposals for alternative approaches. This event will share the key takeaways from that consultation, followed by input and feedback from countries and other key stakeholders.
