The idea behind the weekend is to encourage a broader appreciation and understanding of the arts and its importance and impact on local communities. It is about connecting to new audiences and offering activities and events that will give the public more information and understanding about your artistic practice, performances or shows.
No RSVP is required for this two-day open house event. For the Kingwell lecture on Saturday June 7 and for the artist's talks on Sunday June 8, please note that seating/space is limited.
Please note that there will be a book signing and a reception across the street from CIGI at the Canadian Clay and Glass Gallery immediately following the Kingwell lecture.
