CIGI, the Atlantic Council, and Institute of International Affairs (IAI), in coordination with the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, are pleased to host the second meeting of the D-10 Strategy Forum on June 16 and 17 in Rome, Italy.

This unique Track 1.5 forum will bring together policy planners, defense strategists, and think tank experts from like-minded states – transatlantic and transpacific – that have been at the forefront of building and maintaining a liberal world order.   The Forum provides a framework for collective assessments on the most important strategic challenges facing the international order and an opportunity to develop joint approaches and strategies for addressing them.  Discussion in Rome will focus on the challenge of Russia and proposals for a collective strategy to address this challenge; extremist groups and failing states in North Africa and the Middle East; and China’s strategy in East Asia and beyond.
