Debating the Headlines: A Munk Centre Forum: Canadian Foreign Policy Under New Management?

The Centre for International Governance Innovation and The Munk Centre for International Studies, University of Toronto will be hosting a post-election roundtable as part of the Munk Centre's ongoing forum series, "Debating the Headlines." The roundtable will be chaired by Professor Robert Bothwell, the Director of Trinity College/U of T's International Relations Program. Panelists will include Dr. Andrew F. Cooper, CIGI's Associate Director and Distinguished Fellow, Dr. Joseph T. Jockel, Professor and Director of Canadian Studies at St. Lawrence University, NY, and Daniel Drache, Associate Director of the Robarts Centre for Canadian Studies and Professor of Political Science, York University .

The roundtable will focus on the current state of Canadian foreign policy and what consequences the results of the federal election will have on its future direction and implementation. Some of the themes discussed in the 2005 volume of Canada Among Nations, such as Canada-US relations and Canada 's relations with emergent powers like China and India will be highlighted.
