This 3-day conference on the emergence of China and India in the
Global Economy, to be held at the Centre for Economic Performance at the London
School of Economics on 4th-6th July 2008. The general themes of the conference are the causes and consequences of the acceleration of economic development in China and India in recent decades, including the implications for other developing and developed countries around the world.
