Europe today is confronted by an unprecedented set of external challenges. In recent years European resilience has been tested in the face of economic turmoil and geopolitical shifts. The workshop will explore how the European Union can shape relations with its border regions (Russia/Ukraine, Turkey, North Africa and the Middle East), and the core regions of the world economy (North America and East Asia).
