CIGI and Reset have partnered to create the Global Platform Governance Network (GPGN). The GPGN is a global community of civil servants, legislative staff and regulators committed to a collaborative and harmonized approach to address pressing issues related to digital platform governance.
The goal of this group is to harmonize transparency efforts internationally. The group will be supported by experts and civil society leaders and will produce fact sheets and commission research that can be used by network members.
This session of the Transparency Working Group will focus on the limits of democratic oversight and the importance of both domestic and international cooperation between regulators and oversight bodies on transparency measures.
