The Right Honourable Paul Martin, Former Prime Minister of Canada, will deliver an opening address on strengthening multilateral institutions. Domenico Lombardi, Andres Rozental, and Leonard Edwards will act as panelists discussing world economic trends and the Chinese G20 summit. Barry Carin and Hongying Wang will participate in a roundtable discussion on the implementation of China’s 2030 Development Agenda, infrastructure connectivity and finance.

Hongying Wang (王红缨) is a CIGI senior fellow and teaches political science at the University of Waterloo. She studies Chinese politics and foreign policy as well as international political economy.

The Right Honourable Paul Martin was prime minister of Canada from 2003 to 2006 and minister of finance from 1993 to 2002.
