CIGI is proud to support Marit Collective on March 7, 2020, for Know Better, Do Better: An International Women’s Day Immersive Conference. This year, the program has been expanded into a day-long conference with talks and breakout workshops on topics including a call to action in creating a more equitable world; gender-based challenges in the workforce as well as equitable hiring practices; reproductive justice; restorative justice in cases of sexual offence; queer allyship; respectful parenting; and arts & culture in Waterloo Region. The day's programming will feature 17 local speakers giving main stage talks and leading interactive workshops, as well as a keynote address by Lori Campbell, and performance by Marta Orlowska and Andrea Mauro. The feminist vendor market will be returning as well, from 9:30am – 4:30pm.
