Organizations that take action to reduce their impact on the environment are participating in the larger-scale transition towards a green economy. But it’s difficult to know how the efforts of a single organization contribute to this transition. And how does the international and local progress made towards a more sustainable economic model affect the organizations in our community?

This is Sustainable Waterloo  Region's final educational forum of the 2011-2012 event season, and CIGI is pleased to sponsor this event on the CIGI Campus! Attendees will hear about the outcomes of the RIO+20 United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development, understand how these international discussions apply to local organizations, and learn what sustainable industries and employment trends are emerging as part of Waterloo Region’s green economy.
