The Age of Africa annual symposium is a leading forum for critical analysis and strategic deliberation, dedicated to examining Africa’s central role in shaping the twenty-first century. Led by the Canadian Centre for African Affairs and Policy Research and held under the theme “Africa at the Axis of Global Change,” the 2026 edition will convene a dynamic, in-person gathering for two days of panels, round tables and fireside discussions featuring leading voices from government, industry and academia.
As part of the symposium, the Centre for International Governance Innovation will host a round table discussing digital sovereignty and artificial intelligence governance in Africa.
