This authors’ workshop will look forward to the next phase of recovery in the world economy, after the current crisis, and explore the development and reform of the global financial and monetary architecture over the next decade. In partnership with Chatham House, CIGI is organizing a special issue of International Affairs, inviting leading international scholars to address a number of pressing questions. Has the economic crisis been a catalyst for change? Which world order will emerge from the crisis? How will rules and norms be shaped? Which will be the role of the emerging economic powers in the post-crisis economic order? Which will be the role of multilateral international institutions? First drafts will be presented for peer review, with final publication expected in May 2010.
