The Centre for International Governance Innovation’s International Law Research Program (ILRP) hosted a lecture with Michael Geist, professor of law at the University of Ottawa and Canada Research Chair in Internet and E-Commerce Law.
He discussed his comprehensive work on the Trans-Pacific Partnership and intellectual property rights. After his remarks, there was a discussion, moderated by ILRP Director Oonagh Fitzgerald, with panellists Warren Clarke (Centre for Digital Entrepreneurship and Economic Performance), Barry Sookman (senior partner, McCarthy Tétrault) and Myra Tawfik (CIGI senior fellow).
