Douglas Goold shares his experience and insights on India, assessing and making recommendations on business, political and security relations between the two countries. More about the speaker: Dr. Douglas Goold completed research trips to India in 2008 and again in November 2009, interviewing Indian business leaders and government decision-makers. He has also interviewed Canadian executives and policy-makers on Canada'srole in India. Today he shares his experience and insights on India, assessing and making recommendations on business,political and security relations between the two countries. Douglas Goold succeeded the Honourable Barbara McDougall as President and CEO of the CIIA in January 2004 and was the President of the CIC until 2009. Mr. Goold is a well-known journalist and commentator and the former Editor of The Globe and Mail Report on Business and Report on Business Magazine. He also authored, with Andrew Willis, The Bre-X Fraud, a national number one best seller. Goold has a PhD in modern history from St. John's College, University of Cambridge and has completed two Killam Postdoctoral Fellowships at the University of British Columbia.
