Valerie Oosterveld, Associate Professor, University of Western Ontario Faculty of Law, presents her talk, "The Creation of the International Criminal Court: Gender as a Case Study" as part of CIGI's International Law Summer Institute.

The goal of this International Law Summer Institute (ILSI) is to provide global governance graduate students with an intensive, one-week program on the foundational aspects of public international law, as well as to provide students with exposure to leading international law researchers, as well as promote networking opportunities among the students themselves.
