Ahmed Galal, who serves on the CIGI Board of Directors, is managing director of the Economic Research Forum, a regional research institution covering the Arab countries, Iran and Turkey. Between July 2013 to March 2014, he was Egypt's Finance Minister. He has also served as the executive director and director of research of the Egyptian Center for Economic Studies.
