How Canada Is Advancing Global Action on Climate Change

Climate change is rapidly becoming one of the most critical issues on international agendas as the impacts of climate change permeate nearly every aspect of society, from the economy to health care to human rights.

Patricia Fuller, Canada’s Ambassador for Climate Change, joined CIGI for a public discussion in Ottawa on Feb. 7, 2019, to discuss what the Canadian federal government is doing to advance climate action. Fuller speaks about the economic opportunities of transitioning to a low-carbon economy and Canada’s role in advancing global climate action, including the commitment to the Paris Agreement on climate change.
