Nigel Fisher, former United Nations Assistant Secretary-General, was the UN’s Regional Humanitarian Coordinator for the Syria Crisis, until August 2014, where he led efforts to develop a multi-stakeholder regional strategy in response to the Syria Crisis.  He delivered a CIGI Global Policy Forum in October 2015 titled, "Ready and Able? Refugees and More: Challenges for Global Governance in Turbulent Times."
