The World Economy and the New US Administration and Congress

C. Fred Bergsten spoke at CIGI’s Global Policy Forum in Ottawa. In this lecture, Bergsten explored the successes and challenges of free trade in the United States under the Barack Obama administration. He also outlined what the future of US trade agreements may look like under a new US administration, specifically the Trans-Pacific Partnership and the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership.
